Apply as a Home-Schooled Student
Randolph College welcomes home-schooled students whose experiences and perspectives will enrich our community. Applying to Randolph as a home-schooled student is essentially the same as applying from a traditional high school. Just follow these easy steps. Questions? Contact us.
- Submit the application. You can choose to...
- Apply online with our New Global Scholar Application,
- download the application and mail it to us, or
- use the Common Application Form.
If you started an online application prior to Feb. 7, 2007, you can return to it here.
Be sure to check our deadlines to make sure to submit the application on time.
- Submit the Randolph College Official Home School Transcript form (PDF).
- Ask a teacher or guidance counselor to fill out a recommendation form for you. Be sure to note at the top of the form the date by which you would like it returned to the Admissions Office.
- Request that your results from the SAT I or ACT be sent to Randolph. Our SAT code is 5567, and our ACT code is 4388.
- Ask your secondary school to send your official transcript directly to the Admissions Office.
- Submit a personal statement or graded writing sample with your application.
- Schedule a visit to campus! We'd love to see you, and it's a great way to see if Randolph is the place for you.
- Explore financial aid and scholarship options.
- After you have completed all home-schooling course work, re-submit the Randolph College Official Home School Transcript form (PDF)as a "final" transcript.
