Randolph College offers three different admission plans:
Early Decision: You should apply by November 15. An Early Decision application is, in effect, a statement that Randolph is your first choice college. Under this plan, you agree to withdraw your applications to all other colleges when you are notified of your acceptance to Randolph. We, in turn, agree to make our decision on your application before others and to notify you by December 15. If our decision on your application is deferred, you are automatically released from the terms of the agreement and you will be reconsidered in the spring without prejudice as a Regular Decision candidate.
Regular Decision: You should submit your application and supportive credentials no later than March 1 (and preferably earlier to receive priority scholarship consideration). The Admissions Committee will begin reviewing applications in late fall. Randolph’s rolling admission plan ensures that you will be notified promptly of our decision.
Early Admission: If you are a high school junior with unusually strong qualifications who wishes to apply after completing the 11th grade, you should write to the Director of Admissions and state your reasons for wishing to enter college a year early. You must submit the same credentials that are required of other applicants for the first-year class. A letter from your principal granting permission is also required.
