Why do students choose Prime Time at Randolph?
Since its founding over a century ago, Randolph has always recognized the unique challenges of the adult student and has provided services and support to meet those needs. That’s why our students come from as close as Rivermont Avenue in Lynchburg and as far as California and Japan. Most cite the superior academic reputation of the College and the nurturing environment for the Prime Time students as their main reasons for choosing Randolph.
I’ve been out of school for a long time. Can I really compete academically with younger students?
Absolutely. Prime Time students enjoy the high regard they receive from faculty and traditional-age students. In fact, adult students often find that their motivation, general maturity, and life experience give them an edge. Most Prime Time students perform exceptionally well academically, and many Prime Time students have received College academic awards. Additionally, deserving Prime Time students are inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Sigma Lambda, and departmental honor societies.
How can I afford to return to school?
Prime Time students receive the Harriet Hudson Award, which reduces tuition by one-half. See Financial Aid for information on the Harriet Hudson Award and additional opportunities for financial support.
