Global Honors Emphasis

The world may be nearly 25,000 miles around, but technology and travel advances have turned the world into a global village where we interact with people on different continents as if they were just down the street.

That's why Randolph teaches from a global perspective, regardless of your major.

Our global honors curriculum brings the world to Lynchburg—and sends you out to see the world. As a student here, you might:

  • Meet with a French engineer to discuss nuclear energy in France
  • Track a biologist's research on birds in Ireland as part of your first-year seminar
  • Study an economist's project on coffee production in Central America
  • Travel to Quebec to examine how film, journalism, and advertising express a culture

In short, you'll build your own “global toolkit” through course work, internships, travel, reflection, and interaction with international students. No matter what your major, you'll learn to ask, “How does this matter to the world?”
